Matt Jones

Matt Jones (born 1980, Rochester, New York) is an artist who lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. In 2002 he received he BFA from the Cooper Union, as well as a painting honor, the Vera T Carroll Award. During the summer of 2001 he lived in the woods, attending the Yale/Norfolk Summer School of Art where he made his first paintings of outer space. He draws and paint into astronomy, theoretical physics, ancient history, the occult, and mythology.
